Overview
I am an organized project manager and love a good spreadsheet. I am always up for working on titles about a variety of different subjects--from geography to history to sports. One of the things I love about this job is I am always learning something so there is rarely a topic I will shy away from. I believe an author's voice is important, so I do my best to maintain that voice through my edits and engage in discussions on how to restructure, streamline, and enhance narratives.
Some of the titles I have edited for National Geographic Kids include: "Destiny Finds Her Way: How a Rescued Baby Sloth Learned to be Wild" by Margarita Engle; "Speak Up, Speak Out!: The Extraordinary Life of Fighting Shirley Chisholm" by Tonya Bolden; "Beyond Possible (Young Readers' Edition)" by Nimsdai Purja; the National Geographic Kids and ESPN "It's a Numbers Game" series; the National Geographic Kids Almanac, and many more.
