Hello! I’m Thomas , an illustrator specializing in character design and conceptual illustration focused on health sciences. Since 2020, I’ve combined my artistic skills with my personal journey with Crohn’s disease to create impactful illustrations that resonate deeply with patients, healthcare practitioners, and the general public.
My work has been featured by major clients in the pharmaceutical and charity sectors, particularly on projects related to Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. I excel at bringing complex health topics to life through vibrant and expressive drawings that show compassion and understanding for the sufferers of chronic disease.
In addition to my illustration career, I am a qualified technical communicator, adept at translating intricate information into clear, accessible content. This dual expertise ensures that I can effectively collaborate with engineers, experts, and clients to deliver precise and compelling visuals.

Full room mural commission in Pebbles Day Nursery, Swansea.
Designed and painted a full space as an 'Enchanted Forest' story-telling space; complete with book-mining magic gnomes!

Crohn’s & Colitis UK Charity – Authored and illustrated a full-length children’s picture book to support young audience understanding of the medical complexities of both Crohn’s and Colitis called Meet The Crohn’s and Colitis Cats; managed complete project lifecycle and collaborated with charity design teams, resources and publications to ensure alignment with brand protocols; worked with Buff Motion to create and launch an animated version of the book.
Crohn’s & Colitis UK Charity – Created a tutorial video for the charity and managed all elements of the project including initial scope and content story board, design and graphic layouts and video editing; assigned as technical author and created high quality content targeted at both medical and non-medical audiences.
