Steve Chapman – Designer

Hello, I am Steve from Coquitlam on the west coast of Canada. I have a passion for the outdoors, and everything map related. I love to create beautiful and functional maps of ever type.

I have been producing maps for a wide variety of different clients since 2008, including the BC “best seller”, “105 Hikes”. My work includes my own publications, map illustrations for 13 books (mostly outdoor guidebooks), tourist maps, park maps, maps for businesses, and project maps for individuals. I work closely with my clients, with the primary goal of creating designs which exactly match their original vision. Whatever type of map you require, I can create a solution.

I am a strong believer in good communication, detail oriented, and a natural problem solver. I can guarantee that I will find a creative solution to whatever your project needs are.

After you contact me, we will discuss your exact requirements for the maps to go into your book, after which I will provide a fixed quote based on my hourly rate. The price will be fixed so long as the scope of the project remains the same. And of course, we can revise that if we find the scope needs to change as we work through the project. Project milestones, deliverables and timescales will also be discussed at this initial stage so that we can move forward with the project on your desired schedule.
