Whether I’m coming into an established project team to offer creative clarity around a new product launch, ghostwriting a book, or coaching a professional through a time of transition, my focus is on solutions, movement, and growth.
My background includes leading as the former executive editor of Healthy Living Made Simple, a Sam’s Club magazine that reaches around 11 million readers, where I wrote a cover feature on Oprah Winfrey and Deepak Chopra. I’ve consulted on nutritional products, global initiatives, new magazines, and varied product and project launches, as well as mentored or coached dozens of entrepreneurs. In addition, I’ve been involved in writing or editing of dozens of books, including my own book, The Editor’s Eye. I have a master’s in professional writing and editing and a bachelor’s in writing.
I spent nearly two years abroad, first in the Dominican Republic and then in Vietnam. Experiences like hiking Ta Kou Mountain to see the reclining Buddha in Mui Ne, Vietnam; being robbed at gunpoint in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; and exploring the island of Ko Chang, Thailand, all shaped who I am and how I work. Spending time in different cultures has helped me develop an openness and ability to understand different viewpoints, allowing me to approach projects with unique questions and insights. This whole-world perspective is part of why my clients are scattered around the globe.
My home is in Boise, Idaho, with sprawling foothills less than a mile from my front door. I’m a running fanatic, aspiring yogi, and proud mom to two incredible kids.

I was involved in envisioning, planning, and launching a first-ever publication of its kind in the Treasure Valley of Boise, Idaho. As managing editor, I successfully hired and managed more than 30 writers, photographers, designers, editors, and support staff; completed final review of all articles, design, and photographs; and wrote a “Letter from the Editor” and various articles in the magazine. Fusion Magazine was a Boise city lifestyle magazine with a distribution of 20,000.
