“Kisses” is an easy enough to teach. I did it for my dog Gromit Jr. It’s like showing them hold, woah, and heel. You don’t need peanut butter because licking is how they greet anyone. Plus, peanut butter is super oily and messy (trust me I know since I babysit ither dogs). If he’s wary, bond more with your dog rather than bribe them. You can also do “Hug” or “Selfie” once you finish up with that! Those are fun one I taught Gromit Jr

Great question! Dogs need to feel comfy with it on, and have weight added over time. It’s a skill like lifting weights or anything else. Kids get used to wearing a backpack as they go to school and have to carry more books, right? Same idea here!

Grommit Jr (my dog) loves to wear his pack because he can be out longer and stay hydrated with water bottles I give him and he carries mine as well since my other hand holds my cane. He’s my comfort and caretaking creature and it’s all thanks to good training, practice, and lots of love! 🐶♥

I LOVE Wallace & Gromit (except for A Matter of Loaf and Death, hitting Fluffles was too far)! I named mine after my favorite beagle and put Jr. at the end. He’s been my little companion and a role model for all the other dogs at the park ever since.

Names have a way of influencing behavior so I wouldn’t go with anything regal! My dog knows all types of stuff and is almost a little human himself (much like Gromit)! He always says hi to Gromit Sr. when we play the movies! He’s an amazing little guy who is thick and thin with me even when COVID hit us hard! I think even he went a bit bananas but I was there for him too!

My friends and I did Zoom meetings with our other PupParents. A few that got my attention like these: Rocky, Princess Bobbi McCreamPuff, Reddles, Bart Cedar, and even Achilles. Honestly I don’t think it matters too much, as long as they like it and you like it, it’s all that matters.
