A love that never ends.

When Isabel was a little girl, about 7 years old. She had a best-friend named Leo who lives next door that she had feelings for. One day when both of them were at the park, playing and running around, Isabel fell on the ground but landed safely. Leo was laughing but helped her up too, just then, a girl walked up to Isabel and asked " Hi! My name is Zoe! Do you wanna be my friend?" "Sure" Isabel replied, then looked at Leo, who looked a bit jealous, except Isabel was too young to not only not notice, but to completely NOT CARE- (Which I know is crazy-) Leo didn't say anything to Isabel, he just walked to his other two friends, Kai and Felix. After a while, Isabel and Leo walked back home, but this time instead of talking and joking, they didn't say anything the entire walk home.

The next day came by, and since Leo didn't go to her door that day, she went to his. She walked up, rang the doorbell, and waited for the door to open. Already imagining them walking to the park and having fun, but today was different. Leo answered the door after a few seconds and said "What?" "Wanna go to the park together?" Isabel asked happily. "Why don't you go with your new best-friend?" He argued. "She's only my fr-" She couldn't even finish her sentence before Leo slammed the door in her face. She stood there at the front door waiting for Leo to open the door and start laughing at her for her falling for it, but no response or.. anything. After about an hour of getting ready, braiding her hair, and changing out of her pj's, she left to the park which is half a block away. When she got there she saw her bully playing on the swing, he saw her and walked up to her. "Where's your little best friend huh? Oh! Maybe he realized how weird you are, still braiding your hair." He laughs. "People my age and adults wear braids!" She scoffed, crossing her arms. "Either way, you're still coming to play at a park alone! You know, you are such a little kid, playing at a park" He snaps back. "Why are you here then, and also I saw you playing on the swing." She says, pointing to the swing he was just on, "and if you have a problem with me being here, then you can go somewhere else!" she added, just then she saw Leo, Kai, and Felix walking by, talking. Normally, Leo would walk over and drag Isabel out of the argument, but this time, he just looked and continued walking. The bully kept making comment, after comment, after comment. Until this one boy walked up to them and told the bully "Alright, alright, just stop" He grabbed Isabel's hand and dragged her away before she could say anything. "Hey, are you okay?" the boy asks. "Yea I'm fine, thank you" She says. A woman waves at him and says "Come on! We have to go!" The boy looks at his mom, then back at Isabel. "I'm sorry I have to go. Bye!" He waves at Isabel. She now just realizes that she forgot to ask for his name. "Why did you just let him drag you here?" Leo says from behind her, she turns around "He saved me and before I could say anything, he dragged me here" she shrugs. "Oh, so now that I want some space you're just making new best-friends, and leaving me to rot?" He says a bit annoyed. "You mean Zoe? I tried to say that she was only my friend and the boy that saved m-" "You know, I can't stand you, you are always on the positive side and never just.. I don't know!! Always completely ignoring my feelings?!" He argues. "Leo I didn't mean t-" she tries to speak. "Of course you didn't mean to! You never do! It's always" He says, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to! It was an accident" He imitates her voice. "I really mean it th-" "I'm tired of this Isabel" He interrupts, now obviously annoyed, "We're not friends anymore" He sighs, as walks off to Kai and Felix, leaving her there, trying to think what she did wrong. As soon as Isabel went home, She cried in her room, and threw the bracelet away that she made for him whenever she was gonna confess her feelings. Isabel kept asking herself What did I do wrong??

-Years later- Isabel wakes up and looks at her clock, 20 MINUTES BEFORE I HAVE TO BE AT SCHOOL?! She jumps up from her bed and gets her clothes on, washes her face, brushes her teeth, and decides to just leave her hair down and brush it. She grabs a banana and a snack bag of her favorite chips. She then grabs her lunch from the fridge I'm so glad I decided to make my lunch last night Isabel thinks to herself, she checks if her parents are home, they aren't, so she decides to just go ride her bike to school, she gets her shoes on and her backpack, and starts riding as fast as she can. The first day of high-school, and I might be late.. Wow... She arrives at the school, parks her bike, quickly eats the banana, putting the chips she had in her lunch-bag for later. She enters the school, relieved she made it on time. She looks around and sees Zoe and... No... Leo, Kai, and Felix?! She quickly walks over to Zoe, trying to hide from them because.. She kind of has feelings for Leo still. Isabel survives the day, as everyone sits in the cafeteria, Isabel and Zoe sit together, she soon feels a tap on her shoulder, she turns around and sees Leo. "Hey, it's been a while. Want to hang out?" He says. Isabel hesitates "Uhh.... Sure" "See you after school" He says, then walks to his friends. After school they went to get something to eat. After a while, they start to become closer, and it seems like everytime they hang out, her feelings for him continue to grow. One day as she was in school she was walking through the halls wondering if Leo liked her back, she didn't know how, she could just feel. She was about to enter the bathroom before she left school whenever she heard Leo, Kai and Felix talking about something around the corner, she got curious and started to listen "You can't get your reward until you make her fall in love with you." Kai said " Do you think she likes you?" Felix asked Leo. Isabel was so frustrated she just left the building, and walked in the rain, she didn't even care if she got wet, she just wanted to go home. "Where are you going?!" Leo asked. "Leave me alone Leo." Isabel replied. "Look.." Leo sighed, "I know you heard our conversation but-" "But what!? You just used me for some stupid bet?!" She turns around and Leo sees her tears, "Why did I think we could actually be friends again?" She says. "Isabel, It's not true, I mean yes it was a bet but..." He says "But what?" she asks. "I love you...." he says nervously. "I.... I love you too" Isabel responds.. Then she wakes up.
