The Stranger in the Rain

Jennifer and Roger have just moved to their new home in Ohio. Earlier, they used to live in New York, but Jennifer didn’t like the busy city life, and she also didn’t like working after marriage; that is why, as soon as she married Roger, whom she had dated for a long time, they shifted. There were only a few neighbours. However, it is difficult to buy the day-to-day things, but both decide that they will manage. One day, Roger got a call from his company. They inform that the company is organising a yacht trip, and as Roger and Jennifer are company employees, they are invited as well. All the ladies, along with Jennife, were introduced to each other, and the gentlemen separated from their wives. There were two sides, named block A and block B. In block A were arranged to stay, and the gentlemen in block B. At night, before going to sleep, all the ladies and gentlemen enjoy themselves by singing, dancing, etc. But soon Jennifer noticed that a person was missing from the party, but no one other than Jennifer noticed it. She wants to confront, but no one believes her. But Jennifer was determined to find out the truth, but whenever she was about to discover something, everyone said that she was overthinking, and even Roger didn’t believe her. But Jennifer discovered after much effort that Roger’s boss’s wife murdered him, and the person who looked like Roger’s boss was someone else. When Jenniefr wants to disclose it, Roger gets angry along with the rest of the people of the yart, and also Roger’s boss, who was duped and fired him from the company. This made Roger mad at Jennifer; he immediately left the place along with Jennifer and returned to Ohio. For several months, Roger didn’t talk to Jennifer. This hurt Jennifer, but she remained silent, and feeling guilty, she started searching for a new job for herself. However, Roger also gets another job, this too in a big company in Ohio. But after a few months, Roger and Jennifer patched up with each other, and as time passed, Roger forgave her. But suddenly, things began to turn horrifying for Jennifer. She begins to dream about the scene that she saw on the yacht. Actually, that day Jennifer saw that someone threw a male body into the water on the yacht. But she didn't tell it to Roger as he will never believe her, and she knows it very well. But things became very difficult for her to live like that, as she could not say anything to anyone. This starts to affect slowly, but one day, some news comes that makes Roger believe what Jennifer wants to confess to him on that yacht that day. Actually, as soon as Roger entered the office the next day, he found that his boss was dead. Roger becomes horrified, and when he tries to find out the reason, everyone says that it was an accident. But what really happens, Jennifer only knew. Actually, the duplicate boss one day confronts Jennifer. In reality, the boss was a boy from a poor family. He comes to Ohio to do a job when he suddenly meets the wife of Roger’s current boss. She offers him a job as Roger’s boss's PA. Roger’s boss happily employed him. But soon this turns sour when one day Roger’s boss discovered that he had a secret affair with a duplicate of Roger’s boss. Roger’s boss was very heartbroken by this, and after the yacht trip, Roger’s boss was about to divorce his wife. But this didn’t go well with his wife, so she murdered him and through the body in the water while the yacht was moving. This thing was witnessed by Jennifer that day, but in shadow. But one day while staying on the yacht, the duplicate boss tries to kill Jennifer, and when she discovers he confesses everything and tells her that he was not trying to kill her but the wife of Roger’s boss, as she knows that Jennifer had discovered about the boss’s murder. So, she was behind Jennifer to kill her. But Roger was unaware of all this; even today, he thought that his boss was dead, but Jennifer knew that it was not the boss but the duplicate. But Jennifer felt sorry for him as she promised to save him, which she couldn’t unable to do as Roger, out of anger, took her with him. That day, Jennifer dreamed of the guy who confronted why she had made a fake promise that she would save him from his wife. She says sorry. But he asks Jennifer to help her take revenge on the boss’s wife. According to the soul of the guy, both plans that she goes disguised as someone else and starting working under Roger’s ex-wife's boss's wife. And as soon as she gets the chance, she leaked very confidential information to her opponent's company. Interestingly, this company is where Roger gets the new job. But after three months of this incident, when the old company of Roger shut down, and his ex-boss’s wife came into the room, it was raining one day outside. When Jennifer was standing outside their home. This haunted Jennifer, and she saw this incident many days. But another day, Roger saw someone standing in the rain with a knife in their hand. Horrified by the scene, Roger comes inside the house and moves away with the figure, and returns to the city. Jennifer was horrified, wondering how she would kill the boss’s wife that day. Actually, that day Jennifer discovers that the boss’s wife was about to kill Jennifer as she knew about Jennifer’s witnessing of her murder, but while fighting, Jennifer kills the wife instead and after much effort. And this scene was witnessed by Roger, and that is why he takes Jennifer’s wife and comes to the city. But still, this scene haunted Jennifer, but they have moved on in life. Both start new jobs, and after a few years, they have two children, but still Jennifer dreams that a shadow still stands in the old house of Ohio, a shadow stands in the rain.
