I have been working in print and digital publishing for a decade. In my professional life, I served as the Vice President of Entrepreneur Press, a business nonfiction publisher for five years. My interests and expertise include business, guides, memoirs, self-help, and inspirational works, as well as a passion for historical and contemporary fiction.

As an editor and proofreader, I am meticulous and thorough, reviewing material with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Thanks to my background in traditional publishing, I know what separates a good manuscript from a great one. I know what agents, publishers, and readers are looking for, and I bring that knowledge to every project I take on. I consistently work with authors to in copy editing to help them refine ideas, remove repetition, improve clarity and grammar, and catch high-level mistakes. As a proofreader, I ensure that an author's work is finely polished for release, catching grammar mistakes, spelling, alignment to style guide, formatting, and consistency issues. Many of the authors I work with end up engaging with me for both.
