As a copyeditor and proofreader I aim to enhance the consistency and clarity of a text so that readers don't stumble over spelling, grammar, or minor factual errors on their way to grasping your message. You're the expert and it's your story, and my comments keep the focus on that story getting through clearly to readers. My past projects are mostly nonfiction, with a focus on Lifestyle, Cookbooks, Personal Essays, and Business. I have copyedited over 25 books for publishers and proofread over 17 books. I am trained in The Chicago Manual of Style through an editing certificate from the University of Chicago and continued education with ACES and EFA professional memberships.
