Ever since the American Society of Magazine Editors awarded me an editorial internship with Rolling Stone at age 21, I have devoted my professional life to working with words. My years working as a freelancer for Penguin ignited my passion for literary editing, and I cut my teeth on everything from self-help to fantasy to best sellers. (One best seller, "The Magicians," even became a hit TV series on Syfy!) My subsequent professional experience as a technical editor, finessing complex documents into polished gems of clarity and style, only sharpened my eye for detail and honed my wordsmithing skills to a razor-sharp edge.
