Overview

I'm a freelance editor, and the Editorial Director for NY-based ghostwriting agency, where I oversees a broad array of fiction and nonfiction bookwriting and editing projects. Before joining Gotham I spent many years acquiring, editing and publishing bestselling and award-winning nonfiction and fiction for the Crown Publishing Group, a division of Penguin Random House. I've successfully acquired, edited and published an expansive list of commercial and literary nonfiction and fiction in genres including thrillers, business, suspense, technology, history, science fiction, fantasy, science, memoir, humor, sports and pop culture, crime fiction, oral histories, short story collections, and self-help. Some of the most notable titles I've worked on include Tom Reiss’ Pulitzer Prize-winning historical biography The Black Count, Bill Beverly's LA Times Book Prize-winning crime novel Dodgers, CJ Tudor's internationally bestselling thriller The Chalk Man, Jackie MacMullan and Rafe Bartholomew’s New York Times bestselling sports history Basketball: A Love Story, Jonathan Abrams' New York Times bestselling oral histories All The Pieces Matter and Boys Among Men, Peter Guber’s #1 New York Times business/leadership bestseller Tell to Win, Melissa Scrivner Love's Edgar-nominated, Dagger-award winning thriller Lola, the New York Times bestselling memoirs of Condoleezza Rice, Phil Town’s #1 New York Times bestselling business book Rule #1, the New York Times Editors' Choice science/psychology book The Invisible Gorilla, the New York Times bestselling military/current affairs book The Fourth Star, the internationally bestselling, British Book Award-nominated novels of Joseph Knox; Hank Haney's #1 New York Times bestselling sports biography The Big Miss, the New York Times bestselling memoirs of Pete Sampras and Johnny Damon, the acclaimed novels of Tom Cooper, Stuart Neville, D.B. John, James Anderson and Mike Freedman, and Gary Myers' New York Times bestselling sports biography Brady vs Manning

Prior to arriving at Crown, I worked for a number of other companies in the publishing industry including HarperCollins, the Waxman Leavell Literary Agency, and Kaplan Publishing. I'm a graduate of New York University.
