Ore Agbaje-Williams

Ore Agbaje-Williams – Editor

I'm an experienced novelist and editor with experience across both fiction and non-fiction who loves to bring stories to life.

Overview

Having grown up making up stories at night for my sister and I, becoming an editor seemed like it was always in the cards. For as long as I can remember I have loved stories - reading or watching them, creating or structuring them, or even just discovering them. Stories are a huge part of our history, our present and the world to come, and I love working alongside authors and publishers to bring those stories to life, to challenge and embolden writers and give them the tools they need to make the worlds they create feel as real as possible.

I love stories of all kinds, across fiction or non-fiction, literary, contemporary, dystopian, essay collections, autobiographies, crime and romance, and with in-house experience of working at two of the big five publishers, you are guaranteed a professional and personalised service.

No matter how eccentric or detailed, I'm here to sharpen the world you've created in your mind and make sure it delivers on the page. Whether that be through editing, editorial assessment or writing copy, I'm an innovative and original editor whose experience will help to you to deliver a story or narrative that excites. I love to brainstorm with clients and help them turn their ideas into reality while remaining true to who they are and what their goals are.

If there's a world to create or a message to communicate, we'll do it together.
