Max Radulovic – Designer

Hey there, I’m Max, an illustrator and art director based in Munich (fluent in English and German), working with a completely hand-painted approach, where I also mix my workflow with traditional material. I focus on cinematic atmosphere, storytelling, emotional clarity, and have a weak spot for mood and lighting and pull a lot of inspiration from my favorite films and cinematographers. Keep in mind that I won't accept any offers including the usage of AI.

Since most of my inspiration comes from my favorite films, I enjoy using that to give illustrations a cinematic feeling, whether it's composition, color or lighting. In the end, I like when a painting makes you feel like you were there with a camera lens or as if it were a scene from a film.

My background in visual storytelling (film and illustration) goes back over 15 years of exerpience, and as an artist I've worked on book covers, character design, concept art and visual development. As an art director/freelancer, I’ve created visuals for publishing, campaigns and short film, with commercial clients including Sixt, Amazon, Porsche, UEFA, FC Bayern, Audi, ARD, BMW, and Volkswagen, so being a reliable, transparent and calm collaborator plays a big role in my work ethics.
