Overview
Hello! My name is Alice and I have been a freelance illustrator since 2018. I'm a recent graphic communication and illustration graduate from Loughborough University now trying to make my way into the illustration industry.
I specialise in character art, narrative work and sequential comics however I'm always excited to learn a new skill and broaden my area of expertise. I have an immense passion for bringing characters to life and building stories through my art, immersing the audience in a new world. It's safe to say that while you're reading this, I'm doodling away with a hot cup of tea and a dog on my lap.
My work has been internationally exhibited in shows such as the 2024 Interdependence Exhibition held by the Politecnico di Milano in Milan. In addition, I was very proud to have my work selected to represent Loughborough University in the 2024 D&AD New Blood Festival as well as awarded Excellence in Image Making by the Loughborough SDCA during the 2024 Degree Show.
I have a deep love for the fantasy genre, or anything magical, because it allows so much creative freedom, especially when you're not tied down by real-world physics. What also helps is that I'm a massive fan of all things Dungeons and Dragons; this is definitely a massive inspiration in my work.
My creative process involves quite a rigorous approach, involving extensive thumb-nailing and experimenting with colours and styles to make sure the artwork comes out just right. I like to keep the author in the loop as much as possible to ensure the final result is exactly what you're looking for.

Inkwell Printing
Communicated with a variety of clients and responding to their individual briefs. Developed an extensive knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop to create logos, business cards and invitation designs for local businesses. Worked within a close team, giving and receiving feedback to work produced.
Self-employed
Completed a variety of digital commissions and communicated efficiently with clients to ensure positive final results.
Curated and sold a variety of my illustrations and comics at conventions such as London MCM Comic Con and London Film and Comic Con.
Created a following with a self-run art Instagram account which is regularly updated with new illustrations.
Worked with indie developers to generate concept art and illustrations for video games and TTRPGs.
