Hi, I'm Margarida!

I'm an illustrator from Portugal. I believe I'm the girl The Beatles sing about, that I live in the sky with diamonds, except I'm not Lucy. But I definitely have kaleidoscope eyes and that's how I like to see the world: in a colorful and playful way.

I draw everything digitally, but all my work starts on paper — that's the easiest way for me to develop my ideas. I love to illustrate for children, and my style is very colorful, whimsical, and dreamy.

I have experience working with publishers, such as DK, as well as with publications like Pomme d'Api or Highlights for Children.

When I'm not drawing, you can find me reading, listening to music, or watching movies, always in the company of my pets. I'm a vegetarian, I love to crochet and I'm always surrounded by books.
