Overview
I’m an illustrator living and working in Brighton, UK.
My art is empathetic and soft in style, inspired by nature and adventure. My ability to lose myself in the authors’ writing always results in a beautiful series of illustrations to bring the story to life. Collaboration and open communication provides the author with strong unique artwork.
I’m a freelance illustrator. I’ve worked with Phonics Readers Publishing House, Ty Jaouen Stories and best selling author Harrison Perry to name a few.

How did you develop your personal illustration style as a children's book illustrator, and how has it evolved over time?
My style has developed after lots of consistent drawing. Experimenting is so important and it’s really useful to know what doesn’t fit as well as what does. My style is still evolving and will continue to do so as I push to improve and become more refined.
What's your process when collaborating with authors to refine cover concepts?
Open communication is key. I’m very open to feedback for my designs and it’s essential to create the best possible cover artwork!
What's your process for creating a storyboard and refining character designs in children’s books?
I begin with character design as this is the foundation for any book. Without strong character design the storyboarding will not be as impactful. Storyboarding then follows which brings the scenes to life!
