Hi There!:)

I'm Ilaria from Italy!

I've a wide experience as illustrator in both picture books and middle grade/YA novels.

I love working in different projects and explore mythos, fairytales, legends from different countries.

I deeply focus on the story to understand how to visually convey it in the best way. I put myself in the characters shoes to get who they are and what are their role in the story. This help me to draw them and to emphasizes their capability and their features.

I love nature, animals and plants, I studied environment conservation and animal ecology for ten years, and I really love drawing animals/ antropomorphic animals, plants or whatever is connected to nature.

When not hiking a mountain following the animal tracks or building a time machine with my daughter, you can find me sitting somewhere playing with colors or doodling with my ipad :)
