Marta Pilosio – Designer

Former archaeologist and travel specialist, I decided to pursue my very first passions: art and books. Avid book reader since an early age, I have always had a soft spot for children's literature. When my hands were not busy turning pages, they were drawing. Today I work on various projects, like book covers, commission illustrations, and independent publications, but my focus is on children's books. Even though I work digitally, I like keeping a traditional media feeling, with lots of color and textures. I love everything connected to nature, magic, mystery, folklore, and history. I keep the client involved in every phase of the work, from thumbnails to final illustrations. I speak Italian, English, intermediate French and basic Spanish.
