Gabriela Grave – Designer

Hello, I'm Gabriela, also known as iela, a Portuguese Illustrator based in Lagos.

With a degree in Graphic Design, I've honed skills in branding, lettering, and editorial design. During the pandemic, I rediscovered my creative side through illustration.

Since 2021, I've fully embraced illustration as my career. I’ve been lucky enough to work on some really fun and inspiring projects, i've illustrated "Mia e a Festa das Cores" by Adriana Sousa, and "A Girafa Naná," and some more upcoming projects. I'm currently enhancing my abilities through a professional illustration course and a mentorship with ITSMe - International Talent Search.

My versatility shines in experimenting with various techniques, predominantly digital but also traditional. Leveraging Procreate, Photoshop, and Illustrator, and a bit of After Effects to give my visuals some suble motions. Beyond art, I'm passionate about using my skills to advocate for important causes.
