I've been working as a copy editor and proofreader for over seven years spanning multiple industries, from publishing houses Regnery and Rowman & Littlefield to arts and humanities organizations including The Art Gallery at the University of Maryland and the non-profit Associated Artists of Pittsburgh.

I have collaborated with writers, professors, executives, artists, entrepreneurs, and gallery directors with regard to their respective editing needs. I work quickly and efficiently and can easily tackle initial drafts of acknowledgments, forewords, and indexes, as well as later-stage chapter content, footnotes, and catalog copy.

Most recently I copy edited Three Pillars of Modern Western Culture by Bill Pastor, published by Politics and Prose Bookstore in April of 2021, and Uprising: How Women Used the US West to Win the Right to Vote by Tiffany Lewis, published by Michigan State University Press in February of 2021.

"Lindsey was my editor on my book with Regnery History, Backstage at the Lincoln Assassination, and at every turn she was a consummate professional. Her background in literature, writing, editing, proofing, and overall good sense when it comes to good writing helped make it a better book in any number of ways. She is painstakingly diligent, keenly intelligent, and highly personable. I think anyone seeking guidance on a work of any length could profit from her help." —Thomas A. Bogar, PhD
