Hi there! I am an editor with 15 years of experience in copyediting and proofreading. Much of my career has been in the world of higher education and in the Christian sphere. I've held editing positions at Outreach magazine and the award-winning FULLER magazine, as well as at Azusa Pacific University and Fuller Seminary.
As a writer myself, I know what it feels like to be edited, and that informs my editing style, which is always respectful of the author's work and unique voice.
Whether you need help tightening up your finished work so the writing sings (copyediting) or ensuring your finished product is error-free (proofreading), I am happy to be of service to you.

As a freelance editor, I have worked on book-length projects, curriculum, web copy, and promotional materials. For many years I have worked on several projects with the Fuller Youth Institute, as reflected in my portfolio.
Fuller Seminary
As editorial director, I served as the editorial expert for the Fuller Seminary, providing editorial solutions for various departments from the perspective of Fuller’s brand and voice, the institutional style guide, and the Chicago Manual of Style. I also worked on the award-winning FULLER magazine, both as an editor and as a writer.
Azusa Pacific University
As an editor for Azusa Pacific University, I created and/or edited content for projects for University Relations department, ranging from recruitment brochures to ad campaigns to new degree web pages. I edited and proofread projects from early stages to final rounds before sending to printer, solving for accuracy, editorial style, and appropriate tone and voice.
Outreach Magazine
As assistant editor for Outreach Magazine, I edited regular columns, feature stories, and other articles in bimonthly print magazine for voice, AP style, punctuation, and grammar. I also managed a group of freelance writers, assigning and editing 6–12 stories per issue
Fuller Seminary
As an editorial assistant for the Office of Public Affairs at Fuller Seminary, I edited and proofread web and print copy, as well as press releases, for the institution.
