Joy Netanya Thompson – Editor

Eagle-eye copy editor and proofreader with 15 years of experience, specializing in Christian non-fiction.

Overview

Hi there! I am an editor with 15 years of experience in copyediting and proofreading. Much of my career has been in the world of higher education and in the Christian sphere. I've held editing positions at Outreach magazine and the award-winning FULLER magazine, as well as at Azusa Pacific University and Fuller Seminary.

As a writer myself, I know what it feels like to be edited, and that informs my editing style, which is always respectful of the author's work and unique voice.

Whether you need help tightening up your finished work so the writing sings (copyediting) or ensuring your finished product is error-free (proofreading), I am happy to be of service to you.

Areas of Interest and Expertise:

I have a BA in Biblical Studies and an MA in Theology, so if your project touches on either of those areas, I can bring a deeper understanding of the concepts and language in your work.
