I launched my freelance proofreading business in December 2019. Since then, I've proofread over a hundred books.

Using Microsoft Word, Adobe, or Google Docs, I read through the manuscript and mark any grammar typos, spelling errors, or punctuation mistakes. I will ensure the end result aligns with the predetermined standard (usually that's the Chicago Manual of Style).

Then, I return the marked copy to the author or publisher along with a second copy that has already accepted changes.
