Imogen Wells – Editor

As an editor and author I understand the importance of maintaining the author's voice and vision while improving flow, consistency, conciseness, and ensuring an error free manuscript. A degree in English literature (Anglia Ruskin University) gives me a deep understanding of narrative structure, story arcs, character development and literary devices. My keen eye and attention to detail have allowed me to work with several independent authors including USA Today and WSJ bestselling author Siobhan Davis and USA Today best selling author Catherine Wiltcher. My role as an editor is to work with you to make your book the best it can be, and I will often leave comments at points of humor and strong emotion to reinforce the effectiveness of your words.

I love all things dark romance, and when it comes to tropes, enemies to lovers is at the top of the list. I have worked on a number of books ranging from contemporary to paranormal, and I'm happy to edit any length ranging from novella (20k) upward. The sky is the limit.

While I'm a British author and editor, I am proficient with both British English and US English. I follow several style guides including the Chicago Manual of Style and New Hart's Rules.
