David Gregory

David Gregory – Editor

My bestseller has sold half a million copies. I am a seasoned content and copy editor and publisher of 20 years in non- fiction and fiction.

Overview

I am the author of the New York Times' bestseller Dinner with a Perfect Stranger as well as ten other fiction and nonfiction titles. My total sales are three fourths of a million books. I have been writing and editing since 1995 and have done business books, autobiographies, biographies, spiritual and religious, and self-help. Before going freelance, my last two positions were as an editor with two different organizations in the Dallas area. I am able to handle a wide range of editing assignments, from developmental editing to proofreading and everything in between. Before becoming a writer and editor I worked for ten years in the corporate world and am an experienced speaker in the U.S. and abroad. All of these elements add, I believe, to my value as someone who helps people put their ideas, their dreams, their know-how, and their experiences into print.Once your manuscript has been completed, I am happy to use my experience as an author and publisher to help you get your book into print. If you are seeking a major publisher to pick up your book, I can use my experience as an author and my contacts with agents to help you achieve that goal. If you seek to publish with a small publishing house or self-publish, I can help guide you through that process until your book is in print, in e-book form, and widely available for sale. In addition, I can guide you toward experts in book marketing that can assist you in spreading the word beyond your usual circles to a much wider audience. In this process, you will find that when it comes to books I am a perfectionist, which translates into the highest quality for your book, and also personable and easy-going, which translates into an enjoyable experience for both of us. I can’t wait to see your baby in print!
