Overview
I’m an ex-journalist turned ghostwriter and I bring my energy, passion and writing skills to help smart people expand the reach of their ideas. When I was an editor at BusinessWeek, I often did long interviews but only used a tiny fraction of what was said. That’s what drew me to book writing – the chance to help these interesting, insightful people tell their stories in full.
In today’s fragmented media marketplace, thought leadership books have emerged as a critical delivery system for cutting-edge thinking and robust stories. This is the way we hear from innovators, change makers and future-tellers. I see my role in the book ecosystem as one that organizes the information and transforms it into a text that entertains and informs. I have been interviewing business leaders and writing for business readers my entire career. I know what each of these groups needs from the other. And I know how to make them happy.
In addition to project management and writing, my authors also tap my expertise in the book world to make decisions about their publishing journey. In my 30+ book projects I've worked with traditional publishers, hybrid publishers and custom publishers. I've helped my authors connect with the firms that best suit their vision, budget and timeline.
