Danielle Dresser

Danielle Dresser – Editor

Having worked on many sides of the book business, I know what the market is looking for & what is needed to shine from an editorial POV.

Overview

I'm a publishing professional with experience in developmental editing at all stages of the editorial process, as well as in book marketing and PR for genre fiction. I started out working in traditional publishing, focused on marketing and PR for fiction, specifically romance fiction, women's fiction, historical fiction, and some literary fiction. Since then, I've worked as the managing editor of a book review website, book podcast co-host, events coordinator at an independent bookstore, and as a published contemporary romance author. Through these jobs, I've become an advocate for authors, and their books, and I want to continue to bring quality content to readers.

Having been involved in almost all aspects of the publishing industry, I can offer insight and advice on a variety of topics - editorial content, PR and Marketing plans, how best to spend advertising dollars, and more.

A pleasure to work with! I really appreciated Danielle's developmental notes to help give my characters more depth and fix the plot holes I had missed.
