I am the youngest of nine children raised by a single Mother, who taught us, to be successful, we had to just do it.
I was my Mother’s caregiver until her recent passing, so my excitement in life, was to live vicariously though my family and friends.
Many years ago I suffered from depression, and was put on a medication to increase my serotonin levels, which, was successful in letting the light back into my life.
Throughout that time, my creative energies were gone. There was nothing but shades of darkness, and when the light returned, I penned this story.
Depression is real, and you just walk it off. I know, it takes a team to bring light back from darkness.
