Sheenah Middle is a British author from North Devon whose writing is full of imagination, warmth, and quiet wonder. Drawing on folklore, faith, and the beauty of everyday life, her stories offer readers a comforting sense of hope and belonging.
Her work spans gentle fantasy — where empathy itself becomes a kind of magic — and tender, character-led tales about love, loss, and the quiet strength found in kindness. Readers often describe her prose as warm and lyrical, with an emotional honesty that invites you to step into worlds where light always finds a way through, even in the darkest places.
Beyond her fiction, Sheenah is the founder of Alan's Light, a community project inspired by the memory of her beloved father. It offers support and friendship to unpaid carers and families touched by dementia, sharing a little warmth and compassion through storytelling and creative connection.
Whether she's writing beneath the wide Devon skies or sharing her words with readers around the world, Sheenah holds on to one simple belief — that stories have the power to heal, to bring us together, and to keep the light in all of us shining bright.
