Perhaps I'm dead

I'm not quite sure how I got here. It was dark and cold. I tried to move but found myself stuck in place. I couldn't hear a thing, it was as though the world was frozen around me. I tried to open my mouth, to say something, to scream for help, but my jaw stayed in place. I was unable to feel anything, even if I were successfully wiggling my toes, I couldn't tell.Perhaps I'm dead.Only when I felt a tear slip from my eye and down my cheek, did I know I was alive.
