Every day starts the same.Perhaps I’m rigid, very routined, or maybe this is normal–it’s hard to tell. It’s difficult to see life when you’re in the aftermath. Dear Cadence, I wasn’t sure when it had started–the ringing. It was like a buzz at first—like flies, maybe? I’m not sure anymore. They asked me if I had any other strange symptoms. I thought to mention the claw marks on the nightstand, but no one would believe it. Hell, I don’t believe it myself.
