I think a lot about that night. The events leading up to it. I always wonder if maybe I had done something differently, if everything would’ve changed. It’s what keeps me restless. These simple questions. The night was Christmas Eve. It was supposed to be a fun party with family before we headed up to the cabin in Big Bear. I was looking forward to it, because I hadn’t seen most of my family that whole year. Sure, I live in the same town as my parents, but I never found much time to visit....
