Her. Why does it always come back to her? She’s meandering outside in some dark and filthy yard. There is so much junk and toys everywhere I can hardly make out the different piles. I try to approach her quietly, unsure of what I’ll do when I catch up. She looks up from the mess she’s in and makes eye contact with me. I stare back motionless, hoping she doesn’t really notice me.
