The gold rolled in and out of his fingers, stealing some of the dirt from them as it gave back a bit of shine. He really shouldn’t have been doing that. It was a full moon at midnight, and not a cloud in the sky to block the rays of silver light sticking to everything. At least in the day, noise and movement shielded the average person from the sad sights of Knicktown’s back alleys.
