TUESDAY 6:15 am. The alarm clock sounded. I rolled over and swatted at it until I hit the button to shut it off. The bedroom was colder than usual. Probably the pilot light on the furnace again, I thought. I had been meaning to fix that. Claire was still asleep next to me. “Good morning honey.” I whispered, brushing her hair away from her face. Author bio

I'm an emerging horror and thriller author based in San Antonio, Texas. When I'm not writing, I work as an ICU travel nurse. I've always enjoyed a good story, especially one that keeps you guessing, makes you question what you think you know, or leaves you thinking about it long after it's over. My writing ranges from psychological thrillers and horror to supernatural stories. I'm also a lifelong fan of horror and thriller films, which have been a major source of inspiration for my writing. I've always loved the way a great movie can pull you into its world, build tension, and make you feel as though you're experiencing every moment alongside its characters. That's the same experience I hope to create through my writing. I want my stories to unfold like movies in the reader's imagination, with vivid scenes, compelling characters, and suspense that keeps the pages turning. I recently submitted a short story titled "What Remains of Us". It is one of my first steps toward building a career as a published author. I'm always working on new short stories and have begun developing my first novel. I hope you enjoy reading my work and I'm excited to be a part of the Reedsy community.
