I am an experienced editor with an eye for detail, clarity, and voice. Prior to my freelance career, I served as a full-time copy editor and proofreader for Blackstone Publishing in Ashland, Oregon. While at Blackstone, I worked directly with authors to fine-tune their novels and ensure they were ready for publication. As a proofer and copy editor in the company, I served as the last line of defense to ensure the quality of the final printed novel. Because of this experience, I have an eagle eye for detail and a vast knowledge of the Chicago Manual of Style.
