Tom worked in international publishing for over a decade, first as a literary agent at Blake Friedmann and then as a commissioning editor at Orion Publishing Group. He now works as a writing coach and editorial consultant. He has featured on panels at events across the world and worked with several organizations to help aspiring authors achieve their publication goals. His passion is editorial and development work — bringing projects up from the first draft or from the seed of an idea.
Tom lives in rural SW France with his wife, three sons, and various animals. When not editing, reading, or renovating the barn, he can be found cycling, rock climbing, or wild swimming.
