Hugh Davies is a writer and editor with 7+ years of experience. In addition to his content on the Reedsy Blog, he has written courses on fiction and storytelling for an app with more than a million users, as well as educational YouTube videos with more than 50 million views.
He also writes his own novels, award-winning short stories, and narrative video games. He co-wrote a middle grade book that was shortlisted for the Royal Society Young People’s Book Prize.
Hugh holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Oxford. He’s also completed courses in writing and publishing, including Curtis Brown’s advanced course on editing and pitching. When he isn’t writing, or reading, you’ll usually find him searching the hills for birds.
