Hello,
I am YoungJu. I work as a digital artist and children's book illustrator. Every day I do my very best work to edit and create whimsical images. Most importantly, I am very easy to work with and have integrity.
My works were featured in the Grain Valley Publishing, Dasoham Publishing, COEX Winter Festival, Applied Arts magazine,Rosengart gallery, Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) Southern Breeze, Illustration West by Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles, 3×3 Magazine Annual, CMYK, Creative Quarterly, What’s up Annapolis, Savannah College of Art and Design, Deep Kids Books, Telfair art fair, Godley Station School, Veritas Academy, Mizville, Terra Firma Counseling Center, and many private clients.
I also have been working for Gelsinger Licensing Group for over 7 years. Their licensed images are usually featured in stationary and seasonal gift products at Walmart, Target, Dayspring, Staples, Ne'Qwa ornaments, etc.

Work experience
Gelsinger Licensing Group, Inc
-Create seasonal licensing images such as Spring, Easter, Independence Day, Fall, Halloween, Christmas, etc., with given reference photos and images using Photoshop.
-Edit images for garden and college flags, mats, napkins, candy and chocolate wraps, gift box, and tins with given layout and image.
Self-employed
-Create children's book cover and interior design
-Illustrate custom book illustrations from initial sketches to final images
-Event logo and illustration including typography
-Greeting cards, stationary, and calendar illustration
I’ve illustrated almost twenty book covers for anthologies and the YA market and nine picture books for vanity or indie-publishers including Grain Valley Publishing, Mountain Arbor Press, Boomi LLC, Dasoham Publishing, and Happenin Kat LLC. My illustrations have many good reviews from Online Book Club, Amazon, Kirkus Reviews, and so on.

Working Class Studio
Developed and designed new home products from sketches to mockup. I suggested and made 3D greeting card, wooden printed puzzle, coaster, and placemat, shower curtain design and illustration, recycled laser-cut vinyl record clock.
American Greetings
Selected as one of two creative interns for American Greetings in Summer 2010. Participated in Mother's day, Easter, Gen Y, New children's greeting cards suggestions for Target project.
