Overview
As an active Production Editor for the Purdue Studies in Romance Literatures (Purdue University Press) and a PhD in Spanish Literature specializing in the intersections of cognitive neuroscience and literature, I help authors transform complex research, literary manuscripts, and non-fiction into publication-ready books . Over the past several years, I have guided dozens of scholarly monographs and literary projects through the editorial lifecycle, specializing in the MLA style, APA style, and Chicago Manual of Style. I work line-by-line to ensure stylistic polish, and am demonstrably experienced cross-linguistic texts requiring meticulous attention to diacritics, citations, footnotes/endnotes, grammar, stylistics, and more.
My editorial approach is collaborative, rigorous, and deeply respectful of your unique voice. Whether you are an academic preparing a monograph for peer review, an author writing narrative non-fiction, or a writer refining an essay collection, I view my role as your advocate and creative partner. When working together, you can expect clear communication, thorough margin notes explaining the "why" behind every suggestion, and strict adherence to deadlines. Send me a sample of your manuscript and let’s discuss your project’s goals!
