Overview

I have six years of publishing industry experience, working on books in the genres of education, outdoors, nautical, and military history.

I most recently worked for Bloomsbury on titles including High Latitude Sailing, Around the Coast in 80 Days, Go Sailing and Britain’s Canals. I have also worked for Casemate on military history books, such as Ancient Egyptian Warfare and Why Soldiers Miss War. For several years I managed a list of revision guides for the IBDP market, covering a diverse range of subjects, from the humanities to the sciences.

I look forward to helping you with your project, whatever stage it is at in the editorial cycle. I can help you with identifying areas for improvement in your manuscript, or with establishing a consistent style, or if you need someone to look over your proofs to spot those hard-to-find errors.

Tom Storr was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive to messages and always willing to help answer my questions. It was clear he reviewed my documents with care and professionalism, despite being on a condensed timeline.
