Cassie Fox – Editor

A freelance editor with 21+ years' experience gained at global publishing houses including HarperCollins, Bloomsbury and JKP.

Overview

In my long publishing career I've worked mostly on non-fiction and educational publishing, from broad ranging illustrated cookery books, to specialist academic works. I'm currently working freelance around my family life, and enjoy working with self-publishing authors to hone and polish their beloved books.

I'm open to working with authors of any experience level, and happy to consider book projects of a wide range of genres. However, please note that I will not work on any books that contain racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic or otherwise bigoted material. I want to work on positive, inspiring and uplifting books.

I"ve just began my relationship with Cassie. I am a novice who needs hand-holding. She has given her professional review of what my story needs before we go to copy edit stage. I'm highly appreciative of her experience, insights and support in my first attempt to self-publish. May I take this opportunity to thank you Cassie. Karen Brady
