My story is titled Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus Christ for thirty pieces of silver, it was then that he did his last kiss , smiled and then hug Jesus Christ.
Once upon a time, there lived a young man by name Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus Christ. Judas Iscariot was a disciple of of Jesus Christ who was in need of money so he had to betray Jesus for some money. Judas Iscariot was the son of Simon Iscariot. Iscariot meant the liar or false one.
It can be noted that Judas one of the twelve Apostles betrayed Jesus to the Jewish and Roman authorities by identifying him with a kiss in the Garden of Gethsemane.
However , he did this after agreeing with the chief priests to hand Jesus over for thirty pieces of silver.
Judas came to an agreement and then colluded with the chief priests and agreed to identify Jesus Christ for thirty pieces of silver.
Also Judas identified Jesus Christ with a kiss , hug and a smile which happens to be a prearranged signal.
It can be noted that Jesus Christ was then arrested and later crucified.
Again, Judas felt remorse . According to the Gospel of Matthew, Judas regretted his actions and then tried to return the money stating he had betrayed innocent blood.
However, when the priests refused the money , Judas threw it away and then hanged himself . Judas died by falling headlong in a field.
Also Judas Iscariot name is often used as betrayal or treason.
Others also argue that Judas Iscariot was being possessed by Satan.
After Judas learnt that Jesus was to be crucified, he attempted to return the money he had been paid for his betrayal to the chief priests and then he decided to also hang himself.
The chief priests then used Judas thirty pieces of silver to buy a field or land to bury strangers in which was later called the field of blood , because it had been bought with blood money.
Judas Iscariot fell headlong burst asunder in the midst and his bowels gushed out.
However Judas place among the twelve disciples was filled by Matthias.
Also Judas remains a controversial figure in christian history. Again Jesus betrayal was seen as setting in motion the events that led to Jesus crucifixion and resurrection.
Judas Iscariot was known as an attack to the Judaean religious establishment held responsible for executing Jesus.
Also Judas betrayed Jesus Christ for a bribe of pieces of silver by identifying Jesus Christ with a kiss known as the kiss of Judas. The soldiers of the high Priest Caiaphas then arrested Jesus Christ who then turned Jesus over to Pontious Pilate.
The chief Priest were also looking for a way to arrest Jesus.
They then decided not to do so during the feast of passover since they were afraid that people would riot.
Judas the tax collector carried the disciples money bag or box.
Also Judas spoke fine words about giving money to the poor , but the reality was not that he cared for the poor , that he was a thief and had the money box , he used to take the money that was being put inside.
Jesus Christ had a secret teaching that he was the Messiah.
Also, others argue that Judas was overcome by remorse and then attempted to return about thirty pieces of silver to the chief Priests.
The chief Priests did not accept them because they were blood money and they did not actually liked them.
Later Judas threw the money on the ground and then left. Afterwards , Judas Iscariot committed suicide by hanging himself , in accordance with the Mosaic law.
Again Judas death is apparently by accident and he shows no other sign of remorse.
It also be noted that Judas was afflicted with Gods wrath. Again Judas face became swollen , that doctors could not identify the location of his eyes. Also Judas genitals became swollen and oozed with worms and pus.
Again Judas went and told his wife who was roasting chicken on fire that he had betrayed Jesus Christ and that Jesus the son of God will punish him whenever he resurrects from the dead.
At that very moment Judas Iscariot was very guilty of the offence of him betraying Jesus Christ.
Judas wife commented and laughed that Jesus could no more rise from the dead , than he could even resurrect the the chicken she was cooking.
It was then that a voice from heaven shouted aloud Do not mock the Lord your God. Aftermath of the loud voice from heaven , within a twinkle of an eye the chicken was resurrected and then restored to life. The chicken that was restored to life began to crow and it was marvelous at the sight of both Judas and his wife.
It was by then that they realised that the God is mighty, and Jesus Christ the son of man is the saviour of mankind.
In addition Judas Iscariot had a vision of the other disciples stoning and persecuting him for his bad deeds especially when he betrayed Jesus Christ.
According to the Bible, Jesus Christ mentioned that he was going to be betrayed by Judas Iscariot and that the Roman soldiers will crucify and then kill him and on the third day Jesus will resurrect from the grave and then ascend to heaven.
In the Bible, it is written that for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believe in him would not perish but have everlasting life.
Jesus Christ came to die for our sins, his blood on the cross signifies that we have been cleansed from all sins.
Lastly, Judas Iscariot death by hanging himself and the bursting out of bowels has poured emotions to society , that it is not good to betray our neighbours, friends , relatives or leaders of our dear society.
Finally, the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on the cross signifies that mankind sins have been forgiven and that all christians have been cleanse from their sins in order for them to gain salvation and eternal life.
