On March 6, 2026, a notification from the state police arrived at the apartment in Centocelle, in a small and quiet street close to the main street of Via Castani. Via degli Olivi was a strange one that went rather unnoticed even by local petty crime.

When she returned at 2 a.m. she found the room empty and her roommate had disappeared with the keys to the apartment, so on July 2, 2025, she was forced to report him again for beatings and theft of keys and in an attempt to get the keys back she sent a few emails to the university office to ask where she was and remember that she had left the apartment, then asked if they could contact him to return the keys, reminding her that she was without permission to Italian stay therefore could not leave for Germany. On July 4, 2025, a certain lawyer Evangelisti (who later turned out to be Cristiano De Silvestris), a friend of Baghernabarghibi, told him that he was a lawyer and left her a cell phone number, begging her to contact him.
