To lay down and look up at the night sky is different than looking at the sky in the daytime. It gives you sense of wonder and awe. Yet you have no idea what is out there beyond the sky or the atmosphere. You keep thinking and wondering what the universe holds in store for us and even when we slip into the outer atmosphere and in the universe, we still have no idea what is out there beyond our own galaxy, or even the Milky Way.
The planets that we learned about in grade school, that we learned about in middle school and even in high school were only the tip of the iceberg. The knowledge we took away from those years of classes and the teachers who were with us every step of the way, led us to believe that possibly something may be beyond what we knew about or we told while we dreamed and hoped for a future of possible space travel that went beyond the galaxy and world we lived in and on.
It gave us some form of what we ourselves may one day discover, whether it be with the idea of someone somewhere taking a simple idea that would become a reality, if not in our lifetime, then in a future lifetime that would allow us to be a part of something greater than what we knew. It gives us hope that we as the supposed only ones on Earth, either in the past or the present, would not be willing to present themselves to us firsthand. It was as if, like Hailey's comet, only appear every 75 years. This seems to far-fetched and less believable every year that we let those ideas and memories fade into oblivion.
The powers that be are less than enthusiastic at the idea of other worldly things or beings inhabiting our planet, the once perfect planet marred by wars, devastation, famine, sickness, death, and other horrible things yet to happen. No one that is not already here will be as welcoming and will to open its arms up inviting those that frighten most or make those who are close minded less willing to believe in the possibility. It means that if creatures unlike us were to finally visit us, we may be in for a huge treat.
We should be cautious and yet open-minded enough to venture out further than we presently are capable and able to. Even the conspiracy theorist admits that with the possibility of this being true to form, that there are drawbacks of letting those that are far above us intellectually, physically and mentally, can already know what we are thinking and planning, because they are superior to us on so many levels.
But back to the thought of us one day becoming pioneers in space exploration. To advance and do so in unity as one people. To find and relay all the things that are actual facts and no longer long since thought of as myths. It can leave one wrapped up in the idea that mankind is always asking the question of why. We already know the who, the what, the what, the how, and the when. But this leaves us to guess and not have the proof needed to know the why. It gives us much to be desired and much to be still explained, leaving us with more questions than answers, more words without definitions and not knowing creates fear, panic, uncertainty, which leads to rumors, assumptions, and speculation.
We should give ourselves the benefit of the doubt and go where no man has gone before except on TV. Be willing to travel like Star Trek or Star Wars. To be bold enough to take the chance and train like our lives depended on it. To be willing and allow the movies to be as a beginner's guide, taking with us as much knowledge and information that would allow us to become better as humans on a mission of epic proportions and see how far we can advance in our hopes daring us to expand the world we live in at present much wider, much greater and with the ideas planted firmly on solid space ground that we arrive at.
It would give us a different view of what a common goal is. It would point us in a different direction. It would allow us to redirect our sights on the things that we have never agreed upon. The goal for all mankind is to find a way to become unified as one in a way that would allow history to be rewritten. Not to build a tower that eventually went to nowhere. Not to make and break treaties, not to shake in agreement then turn against the ones we just made the agreement with. No!!!! It is better to never have placed our faith in those who cannot agree on a laid-out plan, in hopes all sides will agree, for to this is a wise man being foolish in his thoughts.
It can surely look good on paper. It can sound good with words spoken. It can seem right and just on the surface. It can be all these things yet never be something allowed to become a reality. It is up to us to know how far we want to go, to explore the depths of the vast unknown and in agreement will achieve this in either a few years or a few decades, but it starts with us today.
The past started us beginning to achieve a space race that merged into an International Space Station. The present one is old and aged. It has a few more years of life before it ends its existence. There is a newer International Space Station that is ran by a mortal enemy, China. Who is to know how this will work out for all involved at present in the end. It is with many smiles and lies of deceit, that we bow to them as we become more codependent on them specifically for all that we own and use now. The secrets are oozing at the seams, and no one is the wiser.
We are aware that we will never know unless we explore through trial and error. We should be more willing to take the chances necessary to achieve the common goal, so others follow us in that common goal. If we were to try and possibly succeed. To lay the very foundations of discovery and exploration that goes beyond manned missions to the moon, more like manned missions to Mars, and beyond. To bring with us what was learned in the classroom to actual use of this knowledge in our own findings and then lead onward no matter where we may go or where it will take us.
Yes, to boldly go where no human has gone except on TV. To conquer the final frontier and being victorious.
To win and get our trophy.
