Blog Entry #28: Rumors
Dear Readers,
I heard a rumor that Katie Lindheart murdered her father. We all know that he turned up dead after a gnarly night of drinking at the bar, according to townspeople. Of course, we live in a small town and word gets around, gossip spreads easier than Jessica Mare spreads her legs, but there really is something to be said about the way that Katie was raised. I'm not talking poorly about her, but her parents. Mama took off when Katie was just two years old, leaving behind a check for $200.00 and no note. Daddy never fell in love with another woman after that. Instead, he fell in love with whiskey, and his behind fell into the same barstool seven days a week. Katie was left to raise herself.
Anyway, Chuck Lindheart was found face down on his front sidewalk with his skull split clean open. It was really a site to see; the old drunk looked almost peaceful. Police almost immediately ruled it an accident. They said he probably tripped trying to walk up the front steps and fell back and was too shitfaced to catch himself. Now according to an anonymous source, Chuck had already returned home almost a half hour before the coroner estimated he died. Did it really take him thirty minutes to try to walk up the steps? Who knows.
I will keep you readers updated on any more information I receive about this possible covered up homicide. Until then, stay curious.

Blog Entry #29: Motive
Dear Readers,
I told you guys that I would keep you updated. Rumor has it that there is now a motive behind why Katie Lindheart might have murdered her own father. As we all are aware, Chuck was a nasty drunk. How many fights did he get in down at the bar? I've honestly lost count. Well apparently, the man used to stagger home every night and pick fights with his own daughter! It would be about the smallest of things, like there was a cup left in the sink, or the bathroom light was turned on. Most kids get yelled at for stuff like this, but Chuck apparently took it to a whole other level. He would throw things, punch walls, and more than once he allegedly put his hands on Katie. We all know and love Katie, and we all know how scrappy she is. The poor girl couldn't fend off a moth trying to get inside. She really stood no chance defending herself against three hundred and fifty pounds of drunken man. You have to feel sorry for her.
I don't know much about Chuck's life before his wife left him with a two-year-old. The two of them moved here before Katie was born, and the wife didn't stick around long enough for anybody to get to know her. Of course, Chuck would never talk about her, or himself when he was younger. All we have to go off of is the Chuck that we have seen for the last sixteen years. The Chuck who we saw at the bar counter more than we ever saw him with his own daughter. The Chuck who favored whiskey over his health. All I am saying is who could really say they wouldn't have at least thought of pushing their daddy down the stairs if he laid a hand on them? Until next time readers. Stay Curious.

Blog Entry #30: Evidence
Dear Readers,
I'm writing this entry today with an absolutely riveting update. There is evidence proving that Chuck Lindheart was in fact murdered. After reading Blog Entry #29, the Police decided to take a look into the circumstances surrounding the infamous fall. When they looked back at the autopsy report, Chucks' blood alcohol level came back at 0.02. He had barely had two drinks! Now I know there are a lot of ways that somebody could have fallen sober, so that was not enough evidence to rule it a murder. So, they went to Katie, who of course denied everything. She apparently told the cops that "my daddy was a mean old man and a nasty drunk, but I'm not a killer."
If any of you know anything about Katie, you remember the incident seven years ago. The one and only time she ever got into a fight with somebody, and it was a boy who was picking on her. I remember it like it just happened two days ago. I have never seen a madder little girl. It really makes you wonder if that boy picking on her was the only thing going on, or if it was just the thing that sent her over the edge. And did Chuck finally do something to send her falling again? Who knows where we'll go from here. Until next time, stay curious.

Blog Entry #31: Confessions
Dear Readers,
I did it. I killed him. I would do it a million times over if it meant getting this same feeling of freedom. Of safety. Nobody in this town understood what it was like to wait for Chuck Lindheart to come home every night, imagining what he was going to throw their way or slam onto their head in a fit of what somebody could only describe as an evil, hateful rage. Well, I finally felt what he felt.
It is true, daddy had come home early that night, and he hadn't drunk but one glass of whiskey. It is also true that he came home ready to fight. He wasn't just a mean man when he was drunk. I never once saw a happy emotion behind his eyes. He always blamed me for mama leaving us. Leaving him.
"She loved me! You ruined everything! I would kill you if it meant she would come back!" He loved to threaten to kill me. I started to believe him sometime after the second time he knocked me out. I knew it was going to be him or me in the end. There was no way both of us were going to survive. I just had to guts (and the mental status) to actually do it. I am not an evil person. I am a survivor.
