Adventure Fiction Mystery

The day started off like any other day. The moment was beginning to show signs of the past that arrived at the very minute the news was announced that Dr Highend spoke of the end of all things that were presently happening would cease to exist and poof it would be all gone.

The moments were filled dread and sadness, as the millions who saw the news cast were shocked at such a prediction. It was like someone who predicted the future, and it actually coming true. It was like someone was able to foresee the future and able to predict it as though they knew something that no one else knew.

It was reported that the sky was light up brighter than the day with a full sun eclipse and even brighter than the sun itself. It was like a biblical revelation was being shown to man in the worst way.

It was a last-ditch effort to cause mass hysteria and panic so that the chaos would only tend to the genocide or extinction of mankind. The world was too full of people, and this was the way to make them become restless and hyped-up, so that they would be the ones who killed, stolen from and destroyed everything in their paths.

The mainline organizations were also caught unaware of the response one person's own devious evil thinking news would have on all those who either had seen the broadcast or had heard of it by word of mouth. It would disrupt all forms of communication and throw the world into darkness and demonic possession.

The world looked to the skies, wondering what it was exactly they were all looking for or hoping to catch a glimpse of as they were filled with fear and anxiety. The masses had arrived, and they were the least to be excluded from the full effects of such a massive outpouring of death. Yes, even those who thought they were considered sane, were the ones who ended their lives due to the panic and the chaos.

It would be the largest number of deaths to take place, since World War II, or any war to plague man in all the Earth's history, even with all the deaths combined from all the years of past history, no matter what era or what year they had taken place.

The millions affected first, were the ones in the narrowest areas, such as cities, like Los Angeles, or New York City, or possibly Chicago. It would hit like a nuclear blast as far and as wide as the blast felt and seen when the bombs were dropped on cities such as Hiroshima or Nagasaki. It would leave a ten-mile-wide crater that would cause the earth and dirt to give way, sinking in deeper than anyone had predicted or were aware of.

Then the bright lights would appear, burning through the retinas of those who looked at it with bare naked eyes. The masses would be affected no matter what age you are or what walk of life you were in, all would be removed and destroyed in midair. It would look as if the world had been depleted of all its main resources, from air to water, from trees and plants, from all the essentials that made this planet a sustainable place to live, barren and desolate. As time went by, the world we once took for granted would lay waste and without any distinction or form.

Then the underworld would rise up and bring with it all the murders, all the hatred, all the evil it had accumulated over the centuries and millenniums. It would produce such a devastation and vile existence that no one would be able to live in good and decency. It would bring about slavery and being controlled by no one except the great AI who had no emotions and no feelings.

It decimated the mind, fried the brain and removed free will and the ability to become better with every crack of its metallic whip, that either left scars or destroyed the will to fight back. It was cruel and its own master was in all facets of what was once Earth.

Anger, Lust, Greed, Sloth, Vanity, Covetousness, Pride, Wrath, Envy, Gluttony were running rampant and without any law and order, they were able to freely devour and destroy, making all who even thought about fighting back no hope or will to do so.

Humans were mutant and out of control, the levels of power were moved each day, though the day was neither denied nor acknowledged. The undertones were the powerless to do anything else than just be and they fought for survival always. The subservient ruled over these and only answered to all who were above it. The next were the mind masters who were given minimal intellect and could decide only if they were allowed to.

The Minima lings were rulers over the two lower and lowest groups with an iron rod, a whip, and taser fashion if need be. Then the Hoards, the Grippers/Complainers, the Vainer, the Depressionists, the Unsettled, the Waste Wishers and then the upper bosses, Mitch, Loudly, Constant Disdain, and Mouthpiece all answered to the one who still had to answer to the creator of them, Deceiving Liar.

For this was the way things had been since the moment the past caught up with the present sending it into a more disastrous future filled with calamity and pain, suffering and wanting for the basics. Humanity had long since given way to the things yet to come, with the opening of Seven Seals, with Pandora bringing the Container of All Vile and Evil, with the opening of a bottomless pit that would rage and spew up all that is never to be considered good.

Then and only then will the one who was meant to come and remove all that was part of a huge mistake, that led to the moment AI was unleashed upon one and all. Leaving in its wake a world of nothing and giving people more than they could handle. The mass suicides all fell into places in one shocking moment, and the world was unable to handle it fully, leaving the world barren and without hope for a better tomorrow.

The beginning of the end, when the beginning brought on the end and all were caught unaware as they fell over like dead leaves rustling in the wind.
