My story is titled My first day at Penn Wharton School after my admission in the United States of America.
My first day at Penn Wharton School. My first day at the Penn Wharton School was good. I liked Penn Wharton School because of its serene atmosphere.
14th February, 2025, happens to be my first day at the Penn Wharton School, United States of America.
The cacophony of new experiences, combined with the promise of countless adventures, made my first day at the Penn Wharton School so memorable. Everyone looked at me as if I were from another planet, but gradually, they got to know me and understood my demeanor. I didn’t strike up a conversation with others, but instead, embraced my unique quirks and abilities.
I presented my admission letter to the Admissions office of the Penn Wharton School for me to be granted my preferred courses in Maths, English, and other subjects. Also, there was an opening ceremony for students on that same day, the 14th February, 2025. Almost every new student was there to hear from the Head of the School about the school's rules and regulations. I sat for about five hours listening to the Head of the school, Teachers, and other staff from the school about what they had for us, new students.
After the dialogue and talk sessions, we were also introduced to the School Prefect of the school. I had in mind that after I completed my courses, I would someday become a Politician or a Pilot. My aspirations for pursuing these courses are that I will one day become a Pilot.
In addition, some of the new college students were introduced to the Librarian, including the New York Public School Library, where they can often conduct research and then read all kinds of books and storybooks in order to gain knowledge in academics for better grades.
Also, during the opening ceremony, almost every student was introduced to their courses being offered on the school campus. Some new students, including myself, learnt that the school had courses in Maths, Literature, English, Geography, History, Economics, Accounting, Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
I did not know how to arrive at my classroom. I was lost, and I had to ask one person about the building where I was going to take classes. This person was very nice, and he gave me the right direction.
During classes, all my new friends and other colleagues were quiet, and the teacher arrived early.
Again at the school, we were introduced to the canteen, the place where sumptuous and delicious meals, including ice cream, were normally sold at a fee. At the school, we were also introduced to the washroom, a place often used for urinating and defecating.
Some students also wash their faces in the washroom.
Apart from the Cafeteria, the school had a snack bar where drinks such as malt, Fanta, Coca-Cola, and meat pie, cakes, spring rolls, and doughnuts were normally sold to students.
Also, apart from the Library the students were introduced to the Reading room, where they often gather to conduct research and then read an entire book on their course of study.
During the opening ceremony at Penn Wharton School, we were taught by the Librarian of the school to never stop learning because life never stops teaching at most times.
It was during the opening ceremony that I learnt about other Alumni from the school who pursued courses in Maths, Sciences, Biology, Accounting, Physics, Chemistry, and several others. Apart from the General Library, the school also has a Computer Library.
Most of the new students gathered around during leisure times to read a book or conduct research from the Library and they often use the computer.
The Library awards grades to new students who often read regularly from the library.
Again, during the exam period, the closing time for the library is extended so that students will have enough time to study and then conduct research for their academics.
Before the climax of the Opening ceremony at the Penn Wharton School in the United States of America, the new students were introduced to the Sports Complex and the hospital.
Also in the School Sports complex were swimming pools, a football field, table tennis, lawn tennis, a golf course, basketball, and volleyball.
I am always going to remember my first day at the school because I had the opportunity to meet more people, and most importantly, I met the best friends that I have ever had.
My first day at the school was a whirlwind of emotions. My excitement had always been at its peak, and I was eagerly awaiting this day once again.
I was offered the opportunity to work on the school campus whilst at the school in order to earn some money to pay for my extra expenses at Penn Wharton School in the USA.
The Student Services department informed me about the job vacancy they had on campus at the school.
On my first day at the school in the USA, I had the chance to meet Juliet and Vanessa. They were people I became friends with quickly. We discussed our mutual love for reading and writing, and it was during one of these conversations that they introduced me to the Schools Medium app, where they wrote their pieces. At that time, I didn’t take it seriously, but I installed the app out of curiosity on my phone at that time. Over time, my attitude changed, and I became genuinely serious about writing. I still have the School Medium app today and continue to use it to develop my writing skills. Juliet and Vanessa remained connected, and we talked and shared opportunities whenever they arose.
The craziest thing I did on the first day of school was to write in my diary about what actually occurred there.
Finally, I think it was natural on my part that on the first day, I felt nervous, but things always have a happy ending, and my first day at the Penn Wharton School was very good.
