If there was a little less noise and a bit more light. Studying in this bare hotel since the room at school was just given away to somebody else. “This light really suck’s!” A loud bang went off in the next room, so she decided to go out for some air. For clearer thought’s, she leaned out seeing the harsh world within our atmosphere. Another loud crash followed while she stared out to the dreadful sun, that always left us in the night.
“Dad , I wanna go up there!” The little girl playfully jumped around in the yard as she tried to reach Alissa, “Up in spa— Oh my God. Lily!” The dad rushed to his youngest daughter pulling her to come inside fore the weather had a sudden rush of rain. “Aw, Crap!” Alissa reached her arm out from under the roof which covered the floor of the concrete balcony, which held this building together. Leaning against the bar’s to feel the cold rain despite a bright flash falling from out of sky. “Is that a flying saucer?” A young man came across Alissa holding a camera and tapped up his glasses lense. He asked her while curiously waving his camera in all different angle’s. “You can’t record without my permission!” Alissa shoved him back and yet not very far.
“Meeting a pretty girl like yourself while that planet shatters us, seems like a plan to me!” Grabbing a hold of her shoulder’s, she feared more of what was headed straight for earth than this boy. “Really, let go of me, you creep!” Alissa struggled ending up closer to the edge of the railing. “Cut this out. You’re hurting me!” She cried out, as the two were covered in the shadow of a real space ship. Alissa watched as it quickly crashed, hitting the corner of the building from where they stood. It would seem this hotel could survive worse. Loosening the grip of this young college student, running as fast as she could to get away from that guy. Also running away from whatever e etched the side of the cheap hotel where she stayed. “Hey!” Meanwhile the creep had a different route.
Alissa zoomed down the nearest remaining stair’s, while the rain let down harder. Almost like tiny rock’s instead of water drop’s. “I can’t stop my feet from running in this weather, ha- A-alien’s, no way.” She shook her head, not believing a thing that man sprouted on about. Until, “Get out of the way!” A man voice which at first sounded handsome to her. Alissa stuck in her thought’s hardly moved an inch to listen to that warning. He rammed right into her, Peeking up she saw it, “Y-you have hor- horn’s?” When the kind voice held his hand’s out to Alissa in the rain, she had fallen once more releasing them. Each step of his Alien-Human like feet, the closer he would get the more she soaked and splashed in the water towards the big beast.
“B- back aw- away!” She continued to cry out. While he stopped for a second and faced the sky, more of those light’s appeared. The first space shuttle went off and seemed to be heading in their direction. The boy then lifted her up over his shoulder’s. “I’m not trying to hurt you.” Unable to take any more of her tantrum he thought it would be best to explain. “I’m not from here you see, but those ship’s are coming this way and so is our planet.” Raising his arm to the stormy sky he showed Alissa, what looks like the beginning to the end of Earth. Another planet but different then ours with a plain tan color with teal blue streaks and one clear line across, It is…
“It used to be beautiful, but that land it was hard on me. Will you stop hitting if I let go?” He asked for the final time. She nodded her head as they rushed over to cover. “What is your name?” The human girl asked the boy, seeing as he started to wring out the bottom of his shirt and Alissa her hair. Looking up at the sky that lit up once more while the other ships entered our world. They flew down thru and passed the buildings which covered them. “My name is Cypher. I’m not going to hurt you.” Sitting down he thought she would run, “We need to get somewhere warm.” She leaned over tapping his arm, her hair fell stiff and damp. “If I can, I’ll help you that is if you don’t get me killed. My name is Alissa.” She told him smiling down at his differences. Multiple sounds of thunder went off when they arrived back to her hotel room. “I just need to change and grab a few thing’s. I hope my aunt isn’t in her guest house. She gave me the key’s a while back so,” Alissa rambled on and on until she noticed he stood still.
“Are you going to come in?” She took a breath passing along an extra towel. “Alissa.” He mumbled as he went inside her dark room. While she hummed as she entered the bathroom. Cypher sat near a desk near a window confused and patiently for her to finish up. He decided to peek outside of the window and there went another loud noise except this felt like the shake of the world. On the other half of the earth, many people witnessed the day the plant’s collided. “What was that?” Alissa ran out of her room in fear. “We need to get out of this building before it crumbles down.” Alissa nodded her head as they went to her, “What am I looking at right now?” Cypher stared at her mini mobile in disbelief. “It’s a rental mini scooper. I’m sure they won’t mind if I don’t pay them this month since well… Come on get in!” Alissa rushed to the door of her. Quickly opening and entering to get out of this freakish rain. She waved her hand unlocking the door for the big guy who stood in front of her. Should I leave him here? Should I run away? He doesn’t seem so bad. Right? Alissa thought to herself but interrupted by the handling of her first ever passenger’s.
Turning over to Cypher, “What?” He asked. “How do you know our language?” Alissa blurted out then covered her mouth afterwards. Cypher then started to crack a smile but his mood changed pretty quickly, “We should go, I feel like there is more to this storm, thanks to my planet’s surface.” He told her adjusting his long leg’s. Alissa noticed and told him about a small lever on the side of their chair’s. Causing his chair to lean all the way back. Alissa chuckled while she checked her rear view mirror.
“Who are they, Cypher?” Alissa questioned, while the car sputtered. He sat up even though his chair was leaned back. “You need to drive, now!” Appearing more frightened to those people then crash landing a on random planet. “Come on, little girl. Finally!” Alissa smiled when suddenly a blast shot out from the direction of those guy’s. Hitting her left mirror as she backed out of her parking spot. “Ahh!” Alissa screamed while switching her car into drive. “Just keep driving, please.” After Cypher figured out the chair’s thing. He then told her, “I learned English from my best friend’s mom. She taught us despite my parent’s warning’s.” Hoping Alissa would continue to help him, a tad of information with a stranger couldn’t be too bad.
“Hey, wake up we’re here.” She patted his arm and yet his reflexes got the best of him. Holding her wrist with a terrified expression Cypher then releases her hand gently. “Sorry if I scared you. It stopped raining too but this fog. It look’s like it cover’s both planet’s now.” Attempting to change the subject. Alissa turns back to her Aunt’s beautiful home, “Any way, this my second home. It’s probably not similar to your home.” Alissa turns to him asking, “Can I get you some dryer everything?” Cypher only nods his head since he did not understand her at that point. While Alissa waited on the second floor of the building. There they were, Alien’s on the other neighboring houses. Alissa noticed one group in a similar formation headed this way.
Not noticing her auntie walking over from the main house. She ran away from the big open window to find Cypher down the hallway, should still be in the bathroom. “Knock knock!” Alissa waited patiently but there were no responses. Thinking to herself a peek couldn’t hurt, “Cypher?” She entered the room and dashed to the window. “Cypher you can’t go out there!” Too shocked by his earthing attire, Alissa’s aunt entered the house. Cypher turned around as soon as he heard. Lifting her up and unfortunately not out of the window. “What- no, I - we need to get my car!” Alissa stressed while hanging onto the window with every toe, nail or painfully her greatest weakness, arm strength. “We have to leave!” Cypher spoke aloud letting her go she warn’s him. “I think those Alie— people from before. My hotel’s parking lot. We need to get to my car.” Alissa see’s that he was listening but then he reached down his arm. “We have to go this way, someone is here.” Cypher spoke calmly then she took his hand and out the bathroom window to the roof. “Where are we going to go, woah. I am not jumping that.” Alissa is left to question any of his answer choice’s.
A loud thump went off from inside. “What was that? My aunt!” Alissa rushed back to the window. Crouching down to open the bottom of it. “You shouldn’t go back in there, Alissa.” Cypher warned. She opened any ways and without her know he followed in the dark edges of the house. While Alissa headed straight downstairs, “Go out to the back!” Cypherrolled down a twin sized bed as soon as Alissa dashed to the door. Picking up her Aunt who had been thrown to the kitchen’s open space. “Come on Auntie, we got to goo.” Alissa repeated as she slide the door and turned to a gate on the back of the garden. “Cypher!” She yelled hanging on tight to the only person she has left. Another blast went straight for the glassed back door. As the patrolled through, “We’ve lost them, Sir.” A guard spoke in different tongues then a human. “Our planet will continue to orbit through this world if we don’t find all three of them. So keep searching!” The head responded pointing out to a small crack from the fence.
“Come on auntie we have to keep moving!” Alissa pulled her wait as the turned one house away from her house. “What we’re those thing’s? Where have you been? Alissa stop!” Her aunt spoke firmly while she catches her breath. “Who is Cypher? You called out to that name.” Alissa couldn’t just ignore her, “Auntie those Alien’s were chasing me and my friend, since they saw us at the hotel. So I brought him here but we need to go, like now.” Her Aunt sat down on the floor after hearing a shuffling sound coming from the alley to get to them. “Auntie you have to get up.” Alissa reached down her hand’s yet she would budge. “Alissa!” Cypher ran over after losing those guy’s. Her Auntie jumped to the deep sound in his voice. “A-A, Alissa is that him. Your friend, well. STAY BACK MISTER ALIEN!” She yelled in fear limping over to Alissa, she pulled her away from that beast in her eye’s. “We need to get you both to safety. It’s my fault ma’am. I wish I could explain more but we have to go.” He bowed his head slightly awaiting for the final say and yet Alissa spoke out, “Auntie, he hasn’t hurt me since he’s arrived and better us take care of this then someone who would exploit him.” Her Aunt still feared to look at him but he carried her on his back. “My name is Quinn. I thank you for saving my daughter.” Some ambulance siren’s in the area and a loud warning alarm echoed the street’s causing he to lose his footing, “Woah, Alissa! What’s wrong with him.” Quinn wobbled down seeing that Cypher.
“It’s not his fault Asaemon!” A little bright red being blocked the younger Cypher away from her older brother. Since he was being difficult about a silly toy their mother gifted to him. “He broke it, mama gave that to him and he just let it fall.” Asaemon sucked his teeth even though it was partially his fault too. Cypher reached out his arm at the ready to apologize, “Your letter wheel, ahh that’s okay Cypher. I made something else for the three of you but first Asaemon, Apologize to him and I’ll show you all right away.” The mother of the two children and the role model for Cypher risked everything to get them all here. In the hope’s for, those kid to survive their harsh planet’s. “Come on wake up, Cypher.” A bump in the road awoke him. “Where are we going?” He asked sitting up in a much bigger car. “We are headed to my office.” Quinn smiled slightly the put her focus towards these dangerous roads.
The fog from before made it’s way back through the entire planet. Making it harder and harder to see. “You know, you spoke in your sleep.” Alissa told him looking far more concerned then he did. “What did I say?” Cypher asked her. “You said, you needed to find them.” She replied. “Can I ask who, you were looking for?” Alissa faced him as Cypher began to tell her about the only group he’d consider family on his planet. Same as her, by allowing and trusting enough to meet her Aunt. Though there is still a lot to learn. “Asaemon and Astria.” Cypher spoke. “The weather has definitely changed. Since you say both of our planets are stuck in orbit together right.” Quinn spoke up. A sudden droplet fell to the window but that little trickle became a thunderstorm like before. With a louder sound of lightning. It struck right before the driver, causing the car to swerve and turn into a traffic light.
