The Forgotten Character

"Do you hear that says Rick to Ryan?"

"What the author snoring said Ryan?"

"We're used to the author snoring said Rick the character it's coming from the back of the author head"

Not wanting to draw much attention to this or wake up the author Ryan goes along with it.

"Yeah it sounds like a baby crying says Ryan and I heard if you ignore it they will go back to sleep".

Trying his best not to go hysterical Rick decides another approach.

"Let's takes a adventure towards back of the author head and see if we can find were the sound or noise is coming from said Rick".

"This is supposed to be our day off says the other characters to Rick and Ryan"

Who but Rick would disturb everybody off day said the other characters.

"What if we get lost says Ryan and the other characters?"

To think that author wanted to kill him from the mystery books.

Maybe she look at Ryan character considering their books are mystery novels and him being afraid to investigate.

Instead Rick replies this way to the other characters and Ryan.

"The author wouldn't let us get lost and if we did she would find us".

With fears put aside Rick, Ryan, and the other characters heads towards back of the author head.

Getting closer to the back of the author head is when they'll finally hear the noise.

"I know what that sound is said Rhonda in her southern voice".

Rhonda is the character in Rick and Ryan mystery novels that both young man are in love with.

"Well don't leave us hanging say the other characters".

"Yeah, say Ryan who is it?"

Not about to let them mistreat his future wife Rick steps in.

"If you give Rhonda time to tell us says Rick".

Having the center of attention is something Rhonda doesn't receive very often.

Since she is the third wheel in Rick and Ryan mystery novels Rhonda was going to enjoy this to the end.

"It's the voice of Phil the one scene guy said Rhonda"

"You'll remember the time that Rick believe he was going to be killed out of the story and caused a uprise said Rhonda"

"Yeah that's was over a year ago said the other characters".

"You mean he's still here said Rick and Ryan"

Wondering what that could mean for the other characters and which one of them was going to be replaced.

Everybody was focusing on their existence or non-existent until Rhonda spoke up.

"Excuse me everyone but we seem to forget why we came back here in the first place"

Realizing that Rhonda was right everyone decided to bring one scene Phil into the light.

Thanking everyone for helping into the folds again Phil begins to relax.

"So what was all that screaming about asked Rick, Ryan, and the other characters".

"Well said one scene Phil I was good with my one appearance in Rick possible death".

"But after you guys escorted me out of the story once my scene was over; months passed and I'm still here"

"Months turn into a year and then I understood why Rick went into a panic said one scene Phil"

Listening to one scene Phil talk the other characters could sympathize with his dilemma.

Not knowing what to say to him the other characters joined together and have a meeting.

"Well says Rick I told you I heard a voice but no one would believe me'

"Shut up Rick says other characters; we're beyond your adventure to back of author head".

"Another character is about to be exile and it's up to us to save him said other characters".

"We don't know one scene Phil and why should we risk our existence for him said Rick and Ryan".

"That decision should happen first before you had everyone follow you to back of the author head said Rhonda".

There was no response that either Rick or Ryan can give.

Seeing how everyone was struggling to keep him into the folds one scene Phil decides to speak.

"Look everyone I'm not looking for a permanent place in your mystery books just not to be place in the dark hole of her head again".

And that's when a idea hits Rick and Ryan.

Their machenic had left to be with his mother and one scene Phil could be converted into that role.

"Do you know anything about cars asked Rick and Ryan?'

"Well since I had only one dialogue in the whole mystery books but their plenty of information in scrap library said one scene Phil"

"We've a scrap library says all the character"

Bring some of the scrap paper out of his backpack one scene Phil shows the other characters".

"So Robbie really didn't die said Rhonda as she reads about her twin brother accident"

"This is how a tent supposed to look like when it's put together said Rick and Ryan"

"Yeah the author has tons of information in back of her head.

"How else did you think I kept myself busy for whole year said one scene Phil".

Since they had forgotten he was even here nobody answered that question.

Instead everyone let one scene Phil continue to talk.

"But now that I know I'm going to be your mechanic I start doing my research said one scene Phil"

"Okay now that we've saved one scene Phil life and job; do anybody know how to get back said other characters?"

All the characters turned towards Rick and Ryan for answer.

"Well you got us into this situation so you have any solution asked Ryan?"

This mystery novels really should be named Rick mystery if he have come up with answer all the time.

But that's something he take up with the author in the future but now he couldn't look bad in front of Rhonda or one scene Phil.

"I don't remember the way back to our residence but I do know a short cut back said Rick".

"Well don't keep it to yourself Rick tell us all said the character".

"It's a little dangerous but it get job done".

"We're in a mystery novels danger is our first name said other characters"

It wasn't when you started this journey remember Rick but instead he said.

"Everyone follow me to this tunnel said Rick".

"You mean her eardrum said other characters"

"Yeah said Rick and on three everybody screams wake up".

"Okay here we go 1, 2, and 3, WAKE Up said all the characters"

Thinking that her ears are ringing the author jerk up quickly to check them.

Which brings all the characters back to front of her head with one scene Phil.

Gaining their balance back and a new friend Rick Ryan and the other characters goes back to their residence.

Until they're awakening by the author saying.

"I know where I can put one scene Phil in the mystery novel"

"Go back to sleep author; go to sleep said all characters".
