STREET BABY OCTOPUS

Drama Inspirational Teens & Young Adult

Written in response to: "Write a story about someone coming to terms with how different they are from their younger self." as part of Evolution.

The dark afternoon revels in fatigue between the glimmers of passing vehicles adding to the impression of a jet black afternoon burning in the fierce sun, the conductor who shouts indicates a causality in habits that are no longer furious, Bekasi-Grogol, Batusari-Tanah Abang, Senen-Cimone and other directions who are constantly passing by, on the pedestrian bridge that stretches between the mayor and a mall.

It seems that the prospective passenger is waiting for his idol's bus which looks old to be boarded, next to the bus stop near the brain-brain shop; there is a small man who looks unsteady walking around the universe as if he wants to leave the ethics that surround him. He was like that not because he drank too much liquor let alone using drugs, but indeed his physical condition made him that way. Conscience causality, effectiveness and the wheel of the main work that he usually does is begging and whoever you are will be amazed-looking serene, it is impossible to even reach into the small amount of money that is in his pocket to give it all to him. Let's just say that Udin is none other than a Salewang teenager or people often call him a squatting IQ. It's really rude if someone calls him that. Humans were created perfect by God; even though there are many defects here and there God has created humans as the perfect human beings among existing creatures. If Udin could be like us, of course he would demonstrate with you in the MPR/DPR building to demand free food, free education or fame like an artist in mass media who is often in the public spotlight with his glamorous twists and turns or would sneer at his words.

Who has been thrown from the mouth of your benefactor could not even sneer at God for creating him like that? Unfortunately, Udin is not like us, who are old and passionate about the beauty of work and materials. He is forced to earn a fortune by being a beggar because of an essence of life, namely how to be able to support his younger siblings, father and mother who are too old to work. Or is it really only Udin who is able to feed a broken heart with material things.

Udin is one of the portraits of beauty who was deceived by the director, the cameraman who wanted to edit it—becoming a survival actor who saved his parents like the angel Gabriel in the morning who gives fortune to humans who diligently get up early. Even though the director and cameraman are his own parents, the fact is that this profession Every day I see more and more pawned people and I even rarely meet them on protocol streets in capital cities like Jakarta, because maybe the Satpol PP often conducts raids so maybe they realize that they are the dregs of society. Maybe in big cities other than Jakarta there are still very, very many. Here limitations are used as a tool for seeking fortune based on other people's compassion for existing disabilities. On the other hand, fellow human beings are no longer attached to one another.

It should have been for both parents to make a living as a form of parental obligation to provide for their children by providing materials and sending udin to school in designated places and the fact is that now there are many free schools that place people like udin to receive education, because Indeed, this country guarantees education with the financing of citizens, including Udin, not instead of being a daily worker and a producer of financial coffers for his family, or indeed his parents are preoccupied with the material that has been produced by Udin, so they are already in a comfort zone and don't want Udin like most children. -his age. I don't know I don't understand

But that's not the case for Parjo, a boy who left his parents in the village to wander in search of a bite of rice in a land donated by an old man because of his bastard uncle who deliberately kicked him out just because he couldn't help produce a perverted beauty in the form of anathema money, his uncle called him Lik Parto. Is a big drug dealer who turns out to be a courier, so stupid is his uncle who has promised his parents eternal beauty, namely the path of greedy, restless education. But what could he do when he came and visited Jakarta; he was thrown into a human being who only knows how to deliver illicit goods, which are none other than putaw or methamphetamine.

Until one day when he accidentally dropped the item into a ditch because it was hit by a moped that had no eyes. As soon as he returned home he was immediately slapped and interrogated where the illicit goods were. He innocently replied that the item had fallen into a ditch and was shattered because the moped was so hard it had thrown its emaciated body. Without saying a long word his uncle immediately threw his big hand towards Parjo's right cheek and drove Parjo away. Parjo was forced to leave his uncle's house and squirm restlessly looking for a moment of beauty until he was thrown into a street busker and transformed into a street disease in the bright daylight surrounded by puffs of smoke of scorching sadness, they tried to attack the arrogance of the drivers and conductors.

Babies teach old grandparents how to be humane. A street baby with a hoarse voice who seems to be looking for a mouthful of chicken porridge by wandering the world to a donated country. The babysitter in a pygmy dress with a cap and buckle who carries a prison, scoundrel prison and delivers frantic diapers. Scraps of sweat, feet aground, skin that is bustling are an impression on the baby octopus, its many legs can crash on buses and public transportation. Small change to earn their survival, road markings can only witness crying over the lives of these babies.

Through this story I realize there are lots of people out there whose lives are more lacking and sad than our own. This story is very touching, telling about a child who is the backbone of his family and the many challenges they go through but they are still passionate about making ends meet. This story has also inspired many people, including myself, not to give up easily in life and to always be grateful for the blessings that have been given and to realize that in this world we are not the only ones who experience difficulties in life.

from this story, we can see how the lives of teenagers who were abandoned by their parents and became the backbone of the family. teenagers who should be studying, but instead have to do things they shouldn't. Udin becomes a street busker for a bite of rice, Same goes for Parjo who is thrown into a human who only knows how to deliver illicit goods. even though they should be eligible to go to school just like other children at their age. from this story we can see, not everyone can be lucky to feel the way things are. but they don't complain even though life is hard, we have a lot to be grateful for having a family and sufficient economy.don't always look at what is above us, because it will make us dissatisfied even though there are many people who are still lacking. live life as it is.

The story above reminds us that we should be very grateful to be able to continue our education and live in the current situation surrounded by people who imagine us and parents who are willing to work hard to send us to school and give us a bite of rice. Because there are so many people out there who cannot continue their education, it is difficult for them to even find a bite of rice, a child with special needs is willing to work hard to support his younger siblings and family, and there are also children who are used as work tools to make a profit. The story of udin and parjo forbade me to keep the enthusiasm to live life, God created all of us perfectly, whatever we get we must be grateful for and we must continue to live. # Evelyn Aywan.A (10) XI - MPK 1

This recount text tells where there is a man who is experiencing a challenging life, several children who must be the backbone of his family and they have their own goals, They are still passionate about working only to meet the needs of themselves and their families, while we are still not grateful for what we have and we have, because their parents are already in their comfort zone and are complacent with the material that Udin produces, God created us all perfectly. With this we must be grateful for the life we have, because there are many out there who have difficulty living life.

The story is very beautiful and touching, the sentence structure used is very good and the figurative words used are very suitable for the story. It has a light but weighty storyline, so it's worth reading for people who don't like to read. From this story it makes me feel that there are so many people out there who are struggling to get a decent life, so it grows my gratitude for my life. The author makes the plot detailed and easy to understand. This article tells about a boy named Udin who was promised to go to school with his uncle, but instead he was told to work a very bad job, namely being a drug courier. Then one day when Udin was doing his job, he had an accident which resulted in the "stuff" he was carrying fell into a ditch and could not be found. This resulted in his uncle being very angry and committing acts of violence against Udin, in the end he was expelled from his uncle's house. After being kicked out of his house, he became a busker on the streets in order to continue his life.

The title "baby Octopus" was given because Udin was a tireless child, he kept on going and looking for anything he could do to make a living. Like having many legs like an octopus, tirelessly and keep on going.

Through this story I can take a lesson that not all children can live comfortably, there are many children out there who still have to make a living for themselves and for their families. Then there are also children who are used as tools to work to make a profit. There are many children out there who need education. From this story I feel we should always be grateful for our current situation.

From this story I was very amazed how the author described the plot in great detail. This story tells about the difference of one's fate. Even though in the end they both became street buskers, behind it all there was a story before they became street buskers. The story of udin and parjo taught me to keep the spirit to live life, God created all of us perfectly. With this we must be grateful for the life we have, because there are many out there who have difficulty living their lives.

This story tells of two little men who have bad luck, the two children are children of one of the consequences of adult selfishness. The little man's names are Udin and Parjo. Udin is a small man who has an imperfect condition or you could say he has a disability. Under these conditions Udin worked as a beggar. Not infrequently udin is underestimated by others, Udin even has a special nickname, namely the squatting IQ. He is forced to earn his fortune by becoming a beggar because of the essence of life, namely how to support his younger siblings, father and mother who are too old to work. Meanwhile, Parjo is a small man who was forced by his uncle to distribute drugs. His uncle who had promised his parents the path of education was greedy and restless. But what can he do when he comes and visits Jakarta he is thrown into humans who only know how to ship prohibited goods, which are nothing but putaw or methamphetamine. Until one day Parjo accidentally dropped the illicit item into the ditch and that made his uncle very angry and hit Parjo. Parjo was forced to leave his uncle's house and change his profession to become a busker

In contrast to Parjo, boys who were abandoned by their parents migrated. He has to live with his uncle who is a drug dealer. And he was made a courier delivery of illicit goods by his own uncle. Until one day he made a mistake by accidentally dropping the illicit item, after which he was scolded and beaten by his uncle. This forced Parjo to leave his uncle's house and he became a street beggar.

A teenager named Udin who is often called a squat IQ or can be said to be stupid. He is a teenager from a family that is lacking in terms of the economy. He is forced to make a living by begging on the streets to support his younger siblings and his elderly father and mother. In a capital city like Jakarta, many people who have limitations become a place to make money. Udin should go to school like other children because now there are many free schools. however, udin is comfortable with his position as a beggar and he is also the hope of the family to make a living.

On the other hand, there is a boy named Parjo who decides to go abroad to make a living for his parents in the village. He migrated to Jakarta where he lived with his uncle who was a drug dealer. Instead of the education that should have been taken, Parjo was used as a drug courier.
One time the drugs that Parjo brought fell which made him have to be expelled and finally he became a street busker.

So the point of the story is that they are street children who have to be strong to face a harsh world and live a bleak life. The lesson we can take is that we must be grateful for what we have now because there are so many people out there who want to be in our current position.

Tells the story of two people with the same fate but different circumstances. Udin is forced to become a beggar or day laborer to support himself or perhaps his family, because their parents are already in their comfort zone and are complacent with the material that Udin has produced.
Parjo, on the other hand, became a drug delivery man ordered by his uncle. Parjo is treated harshly by his uncle only because of an accident that Parjo did not intend, Parjo dropped the goods into the ditch and was destroyed. Without saying a word his uncle slapped Parjo's right cheek and sent Parjo away and now Parjo is a street busker.

Tells the story of two failed people who have different paths of life stories, they are both fighting for their own lives. Udin is a day laborer to support himself and maybe his family, because his family is busy with worldly work or Udin who was thrown away and then not like other children in general also parjo, a boy who was abandoned by his parents in the village and now he is being a child living in a city where people are forced to live, with their uncle whose life is also a mess, being a stupid drug courier. If parjo wants to live his life then he works with his uncle.

From the story above, we must always say thank you to God because we are still given opportunities and enjoyment by God, therefore we must always be grateful for everything he has given.

However, it is no different from the life of Parjo, a boy whose parents live in a village and wander around looking for a bite of rice in other people's lands. In the end, Parjo couldn't stand living with his uncle who was called a scoundrel for the sake of peace and tranquility in his life.
